Thursday, March 11th A clear, sunny day
Today?s lovely warm weather matched our students? emotions perfectly as we held the Musashi Urawa Japanese Language Institute graduation ceremony at the Saitama City Cultural Center.
The first part of the ceremony consisted of the distribution of the degrees and attendance awards. Everyone seemed a little nervous when they heard their name called and advanced to the stage at a somewhat unusual pace, but their pride was obvious when they received their certificates.
The second part of the graduation brought everyone to a hall on the fourth floor for a cocktail party. The teachers of the graduating classes opened this gathering with some speeches, and then the formal tone lightened to a much more relaxed atmosphere. Everyone joked about having to wear suits, took plenty of pictures, thanked their teachers for all of their help, shared memories of their time at the school, compared their future plans?it was a very enjoyable time for everyone. At the end, we took a final class picture and all the students said how happy they were to be finished their Japanese studies, but some did seem a little sad about saying good-bye.
This time there were forty-six students graduating and seventeen students finishing their studies at the Musashi Urawa Japanese Language Institute. Their school lessons might be over, but every day in life is a learning opportunity. Do not forget your time here, and try your best to learn something new every day. And if you ever tire and need a break, please come back to visit us!
?We wish a future of happiness for everyone!!!?
Congratulations on your graduation!
