School Diary

The graduation ceremony on March 11th ended smoothly, and the school entered its spring break. The building that only the day before had been so full of student and teacher voices was now quiet and seemed like a different place altogether.
March is the time of year when everyone travels to new schools and new companies, and everyone has mixed emotions from all the goodbyes combined with meeting new people. The teachers feel relief at being able to send off their students to higher institutions, but are also nervous as they start to plan another new year.
Therefore, before the new semester starts, it might be nice to take a look back at the year that just ended. In regards to after-graduation plans, this year again saw many of our students receive admission to their preferred universities. Our graduates will be continuing on to such esteemed institutions as the public Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, the University of Tsukuba, Chiba University, and Saitama University, or the private Waseda University, Meiji University, Hosei University, Chuo University, and Aoyama Gakuin University. Learning of our students' success in getting into these prestigious institutions made all of us happy and proud to be a part of the Musashi Urawa Japanese Language Institute.
Of course, there were also students who chose to follow more technical paths to improve specific skills at vocational colleges, or students who are directly entering the work force. Each student is now following their own path to reach their goals.
We hope our current students will continue the school's record and be able to achieve these same results next year. Let's all work hard so next year's graduation ceremony will be as joyful as this year's!
