「為せば成る、為さねば成らぬ何事も、成らぬは人の為さぬなりけり」
Do you understand what this means?
It says:
?If you try, you might succeed. If you never try, you will never succeed no matter the circumstance. Failure is the result of not trying.?
This proverb is posted in one of our classrooms. If you go to a different room, you will see the phrase,
?Everyone will pass Level 2 in July!!?
At the Musashi Urawa Japanese Language Institute, each class chooses its own goal and posts it as motivation to focus its studies. With April bringing a new semester, all the classes have been newly formed so each student is on the same level as their classmates, and this goal will help them work together.
Although there were some students who laughed when they first saw the posters and thought ?What does this mean? Is this really going to help us,? their attitudes changed as time passed. Seeing the inspiring words everyday helped enforce their goals and focus their thoughts on their studies.
Examinations are still continuing, with the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students coming up in June and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in July. A little stress when facing these examinations is a good thing, and we hope that it will help bring about positive results. We are all here to help you, and we all wish you good luck!
