On June 17th, Professor?? Yamaguchi, dean of the Education Faculty at Saitama University, came to the Musashi Urawa Japanese Language Institute to hold a “Research and Graduate Studies Fair.”
Students who attended the seminar had already graduated from university in their home countries and were hoping to attend a Japanese public or well-known private university’s graduate program. Professor Yamaguchi outlined the general application process for research and graduate programs in Japan, and provided specific information about Saitama University in particular.
There was a question and answer period at the end of the lecture, and the students made fine use of this opportunity, continually asking for more information until someone finally realized that the allotted time had past. Professor Yamaguchi must have been exhausted after having talked for more than two hours. Thank you very much for explaining everything to us in such an easy to understand, entertaining way! I’m sure that a number of our students will continue on to attend Saitama University, so please look out for them on campus!
