Mr. Pionyer Tserenpuntsag has been named a 2010 scholarship recipient from the Takayama International Education Foundation, prevailing over the essay and interview of the rigorous application process.
Our teachers were also pleased to hear that Mr. Lau Yeung, who graduated in March and now attends a public university, will receive the scholarship as well. Mr. Lau originally submitted an application while still a student here and was approved at that time, but declined the offer in order to focus on his university application. However, the Takayama International Education Foundation rewards excellence, and therefore offered the scholarship again based on his university success.
The scholarship award ceremony was held at a hotel in Tokyo on July 6th. The students met the recipients from other schools, and it was evident that all were determined workers focused on a clear goal.
Mr. Pionyer and Mr. Lau, congratulations on an outstanding achievement. This will be a huge advantage, allowing you to focus on your studies without worrying about money.
Takayama International Education Foundation, thank you very much for giving our students this wonderful opportunity.
To all of our current students, I hope you will also receive a chance like these two role models. Keep up the hard work!
